Due to higher vibrations, competitors’ connector, made of steel 201 may crack. Moreover, material that these products are made of has a low level of nickel, what has an influence on the fact that connector is not fully corrosion-resistant.
According to American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), which, apart from promotion of stainless steel, indicates application of given types of steel, analyses their chemical composition and impact on mechanical and physical properties of particular alloys and individual types of stainless steel, only steel, which contains 8% of nickel is an appropriate steel.
To sum up, connector made of stainless steel STS 201 is a perishable and unsafe product. Unlike KSB product offered by us, many companies apply in their connectors, for the comfort of assemblers, two-sided internal braid, which may lower diameter for the flow of exhaust fumes, after using it for some time. In such cases, inhibition of possibility of full flow of exhaust fumes cause a decrease of engine power.
